Today is the kind of day that makes me want stand outside and let the cold sink in, listen to the static creep across the ground and the barbed wire slowly work its way into the window frames.

Have a bunch of songs that have been pretty important to me lately! I can't remember if I've mentioned this before, but music can be a spiritual experience for me. Not all of it is, but some. Someday, I want to go down to Bloomington, IN just to wander around and check stores out. It reminds me a lot of Iowa CIty, in that it's a somewhat small town with lots of cool, small, local stores. Also, it seems to be very local-business oriented. Quite a few of the restaurants say they get as many of their ingredients from nearby towns. Murder ( Read more... )

After the concert, Baco and I were talking about how everytime they come out with a new CD, we're both really excited and nervous because HOLY CRAP NEW MBD MUSIC but also WHAT IF THIS IS THE TIME THEIR CD IS NOT COMPLETELY AWESOME
